Charcot foot

Midfoot disorganization, sclerosis and fragmentation of the midfoot tarsals. Destruction and subluxation at the tarsometatarsal joint, severe medially with a presumed chronic rupture of the Lisfranc ligament.
Further destructive changes at the second and third metatarsophalangeal joints with subchondral osteopenia.
The bones are generally osteopenic.
Case Discussion
These are typical findings of Charcot foot, of which the patient had a history of in the contralateral foot secondary to diabetes.
