Left foot pain and swelling in diabetic patient.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Lisfranc dislocation and fracture and bony sclerosis are seen inferring Charcot foot.

Case Discussion

Charcot foot refers to a progressive degenerative/destructive joint disorder in patients with abnormal pain sensation and proprioception. The most common cause of Charcot joints is diabetes mellitus.
