Diffuse superficial and deep soft tissue edema.
Diffuse deformity and destructive changes of the tarsal bones (navicular bone, cuboid, and cuneiforms) with evidence of diffuse marrow edema and subcortical cystic changes. Deformity of the metatarsal bases with subcortical cystic changes and marrow edema. Subluxation of the tarso-metatarsal joints.

Charcot joint is a degenerative-destructive joint disorder in patients with impaired sensation, usually secondary to diabetes mellitus.
It is usually characterized by bone deformity, destruction, and joint malalignment.
