Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
Modality: CT

Selected axial images form a non-contrast CT demonstrates hypoattenuation in the cerebellar hemispheres and posterior limb of internal capsule. 

Modality: MRI

High T2 signal in the cerebellar hemispheric white matter, corticospinal tracts (sparing the red nuclei above), and extending up into the posterior limb of internal capsule and perirolandic subcortical white matter. The subcortical u-fibers are spared (best seen on the uppermost slice on the left) Note that the increased T2 signal in the cerebellum is shine-through.
