Collection with mobile internal echoes noted in infra-clavicular region, appx 5 x 5 x 4 cm.
Clavicular as well as sternal-manubrial part of pectoralis major is involved.
Superficially it reaches up to subcutaneous plane.
Diagnosis: abscess involving infraclavicular chest wall.
Case Discussion
Lab - Total count - 25800 /μl.
I & D done next day - Thick pus aspirated, cavity scooped and packed.
