Cerebellar tonsils are seen to lie approx. 8mm beyond foramen of magnum.

Non-specific T2/FLAIR hyperintensities seen in bilateral subcortical white mater white matter.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with Chiari 1 malformation.

No evidence of syringohydromyelia seen in visualized cord.
