Presentation

Chronic headaches.

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male
mri

Caudal descent of the cerebellar tonsils through the foramen magnum,11 mm below the McRae line on sagittal T1 sequence with crowding of the medulla by the tonsils on axial sequences.

Normal appearance of the posterior cranial fossa, cerebral hemispheres and ventricular system.
