Presentation

Upper limb weakness with tingling and numbness. Normal mental development.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Herniation of cerebellar tonsil is seen, with a large cervicodorsal syrinx extending from C1 to D7-D8 level.

Case Discussion

This is a classical presentation of syringomyelia. Case was followed up later after a year (images not included), and lesion was stable. Chiari I malformation is a finding which may be concurrent or associated.
