tonsillar herniation, 15mm below foramen magnum
small posterior fossa
hydrocephalus: extensive
absent corpus callosum
Spine:
large thoracolumbar cystic mass with cord and nerve root within it (myelomeningocele)
syringomyelia in mid-thoracic cord
no tethered cord
Case Discussion
The findings are consistent with Chiari II malformation.
