The intrahepatic biliary duct and proximal common bile duct are dilated due to a mass within the distal common bile duct. The pancreas and pancreatic duct seem normal.

This case is histologically proven as a cholangiocarcinoma.
Cholangiocarcinoma is a malignant tumor arising from the biliary tree and tends to have a poor prognosis and high morbidity.
