Biliary dilatation noted on ultrasonography

Smooth fusiform extrahepatic biliary tree dilatation. Common bile duct reaches 9 mm at mid-portion.
Mild intrahepatic biliary radicals dilatation, more on the left lobe.
No common bile duct stones or distal obstacle. No masses.
Anomalous pancreaticobiliary Junction with dilated common channel (type c).
Choledochal cyst type I has three types:
- type Ia: cystic dilatation of entire extrahepatic biliary tree
- type Ib: focal segmental (often distal) saccular dilatation of extrahepatic bile duct
- type Ic: fusiform dilatation of extrahepatic biliary tree
