Presentation

Right hypochondrium pain and elevated gamma-GT. No jaundice.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Ultrasonography delineates dilated common bile duct along its entire length with echogenic stone (posterior acoustic shadowing) in its distal third. There are also small calculi and biliary sludge within the gallbladder. Discrete ectasia of intrahepatic bile ducts in the left lobe.
