Presentation

Fever and right upper quadrant pain.

Patient Data

Age: 100 years
Gender: Female

Non-contrast CT since patient is elderly and unwell. Multiple hyperdense stones are noted at the distal segment of the common bile duct, that is dilated.

Case Discussion

Biliary calculi are rarely opaque but in this case there are 4 large stones in a markedly dilated common bile duct.
