Choledocholithiasis with multiple biliary microlithiasis

Multiple biliary microlithiases are seem within the gallbladder and along the common bile duct. There are also dilatation of the common bile duct and intra-hepatic biliary ducts.  

Case Discussion

This cases illustrates a case where a patient who has multiple biliary microlithiasis presented with some of them migrating through the common bile duct causing pain and obstruction of the biliary tree. 

 The term biliary microlithiasis describes gallstones of <3 mm in diameter.
