Presentation

Right ear pain and discharge.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
CT

Heterogeneous soft tissue is seen in right middle ear cavity, centered at prussak's space. It is causing erosion of the scutum. It is partially encasing malleus and incus with possible erosions in incus. Mild extension of the soft tissue to aditus antrum is seen. It is indenting mastoid segment of facial nerve and lateral semicircular canal; which however appear intact.

Case Discussion

Typical findings suggestive of right cholesteatoma. the other possible differential of otitis media is less likely.
