Chondroblastoma- calcaneum

Presentation

Adolescent patient presenting with right sided heel pain.

Patient Data

Age: Adult
x-ray

There is a well defined lytic lesion with a sclerotic rim at calcaneus bone.

ct

CT demonstrates the plain film findings with better delineation.

mri

Lytic lesion demonstrates enhancement and prominent surrounding edema.

The patient went on to have a biopsy of the lytic lesion which was histologically proven to be a chondroblastoma
