Chondrocalcinosis

There is linear calcification seen outlining the articular surfaces of both knees involves both lateral and medial menisci. Early osteoarthritis changes are seen involving the knee joints in the form of prominent tibial spines.
Case Discussion
Chondrocalcinosis refers to the presence of gross calcium deposition within articular cartilage.
This is a known case of CPPD. The other causes of chondrocalcinosis can be remembered with this mnemonic.
