Chondrosarcoma - low grade - nasal septum

Bony erosion and destruction of posterior nasal septum with a soft tissue attenuation mass epicentered at septum. Some stippled calcific specks noted in lesion.
Nasal tumor, resection: Low-grade chondroid neoplasm, consistent with chondrosarcoma grade 1.
Final Diagnosis Comment:
The resected tumor shows variable cellularity and mild nuclear pleomorphism. Some of the fragments contain bone and there is a strong suggestion of permeative growth in these fragments. There are multiple foci of chondrocyte necrosis present. The appearance is that of a low-grade chondroid neoplasm, consistent with low grade chrondrosarcoma.
