Sudden onset shoulder pain without a history of trauma.
Patient Data
Mild joint effusion
Infiltrating soft tissue osseous mass lesion involving the scapula glenoid, coracoid base, and body portions with extraosseous extension causing to pathologic fracture of glenoid
Abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal and thickening along with supraspinatus tendon and infraspinatus tendon superior fibers related to tendinosis
Abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal and fibers discontinuity along with subscapularis tendon, greater tuberosity fibers related to partial thickness tear associated with subcoracoid bursa measuring about 25*30 mm
Degenerative tear of posterior glenoid labrum
Fluid signal around the LHBT in the background of tenosynovitis
Cartilage thinning and fraying at the glenohumeral joint
Capsular hypertrophy and degenerative changes along with the AC joint
Acromion type II.
Case Discussion
The patient underwent surgery, and histopathologic examinations revealed grade II chondrosarcoma.
