Presentation

Headache.

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
Gender: Male
Modality: CT

Lobulated mass in the region of the right ventricular trigone with vivid enhancement and surrounding oedema. Prior craniotomy and right-sided cerebral parenchymal defect. 

Modality: MRI

Lobulated mass (T1 isointense; T2 hyperintense) in the region of the right ventricular trigone with vivid enhancement and surrounding oedema. Prior craniotomy and right-sided cerebral parenchymal defect. No susceptibility artifact. The mass demonstrates diffusion restriction.

Known case of  choroid plexus carcinoma status post surgical removal, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
