Choroid plexus lipoma

Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female


In the posterior part of the choroid plexus, a low density image (-16UH) compatible with fat density is observed



Hyperintense image in T1 and T2 sequences, which is no longer observed in sequences with fat suppression.
With the administration of contrast, no enhancement is observed.

Case Discussion

Choroid plexus lipomas are uncommon but incidental findings.
