Choroid plexus xanthogranulomas

Bilateral well-defined cystic-like lesions of the choroid plexus of the trigone, isointense to the CSF on both T1 and T2, not attenuated on FLAIR sequence with high signal on DWI, intermediate signal on ADC and no enhancement on post-contrast sequences.
Small vessel ischemic changes are noted.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with bilateral choroid plexus xanthogranulomas (incidental finding).
Choroid plexus xanthogranulomata are common, asymptomatic and discovered incidentally. They represent desquamated epithelium into the lumen of choroid cysts within the choroid plexus.
