Choroidal fissure cyst

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Unwell, headache, vomiting, hypothermia, episode of unresponsiveness, bradycardia.

Patient Data

Age: 8 years
Gender: Male
ct

1cm focal hypodense well defined lesion anterolateral to the left side of the quadrigeminal plate cistern (fluid attenuation of 8HU) 

The basal ganglia are normal.

The brainstem and cerebellum are unremarkable.

Two years later. Headache.

1.7 cm left choroidal fissure cyst.

The remainder of the intracranial appearances are normal.
