Flat discoid like mass located in the superolateral aspect of the eye, no contact with the optic disc. It measures 5 mm length x 0.1 mm depth/thickness. No flow on color Doppler.
Case Discussion
Pigmented lesion in ophthalmoscopic correlation supporting a nevus. On ultrasound, differentials are those of posterior wall masses, which include metastasis (tend to show flow on Doppler) and melanoma (choroidal excavation is a feature).
