History of spinal trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male
Fluoroscopy

There is vertical urinary bladder with wall hypertrophy which causes an irregular outline resembling Christmas tree appearance.

Case Discussion

Christmas tree bladder usually seen in severe neurogenic bladder with increased sphincter tone. It's not pathognomonic and may also be seen in bladder neck obstruction due to non-neurogenic causes.
