Extensive abnormality involving the marrow with diaphyseal extension and periosteal reaction at the right femur distal third portion
Cortical defect and cloaca formation at the posteremedian aspect of right femur distal third complicated by soft tissue fluid collection and sinus tract extended to the posterolateral aspect of the thigh.
Case Discussion
MRI has advantages in the detection of osteomyelitis and its complication such as intramedullary abscess formation, soft tissue, and epiphyseal involvement.
