Coarse intra-parenchymal calcifications are noted involving pancreatic head, body and tail. Main pancreatic duct is dilated with tortuous appearance and measuring up to 9.0 mm in body region.
Mild abdominopelvic ascites is seen.
The rest of the viscera are unremarkable.
Case Discussion
CT features and clinical presentation are most likely suggestive of chronic pancreatitis as described above.
