Presentation

Patient presents with sensation of a left flank mass.

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Intravenous pyelogram (IVP)

Fluoroscopy

Left-sided hydronephrosis and delayed contrast excretion with marked pelvic dilatation and non dilated ureter, suggesting stenosis of the pelviureteric junction.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates typical appearances of pronounced left pelviureteric junction obstruction, likely to be congenital.
