Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Dilated pulmonary trunk, right and left pulmonary arteries: The pulmonary trunk measures 4 cm in diameter compared to 3.3 cm diameter of ascending aorta at the same level.

Wedge-shaped focal pulmonary infarct in the right lung upper lobe anterior segment just above the horizontal fissures.

Case Discussion

Bubbly consolidation is caused by pulmonary infarct and pulmonary haemorrhage.
