The liver is small and has a nodular margin in keeping with cirrhosis. No hypervascular hepatic mass is noted in the current study to suggest HCC.
Massive abdominopelvic ascites are seen.
Dilated collateral vessels are evident at peripancreatic and upper perigastric regions.
Several small hyperdense stones are seen in the gallbladder.
The spleen is enlarged and its cephalocaudal height measured 175 mm.
Case Discussion
Cirrhosis with evidence of portal hypertension, splenomegaly, and massive ascites.
