Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Irregularity is present in the liver margin, and the caudate lobe is prominent, suggesting cirrhosis. No hepatic mass is identified in the current study.

The main portal vein is dilated up to 19 mm, and multiple dilated collateral vessels are seen in the perigastric, splenorenal and distal para-oesophagal regions inferring portal hypertension.

The spleen is enlarged, and its cephalocaudal height measured 165 mm.

Multiple enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes with SAD less than 12 mm are seen.

The prostate gland is mildly enlarged.

Case Discussion

Cirrhosis with evidence of portal hypertension and splenomegaly.
