The liver is atrophic and shows an irregular margin in keeping with cirrhosis. No hepatic mass is identified in the current study to suggest HCC.
Multiple dilated collateral vessels are seen, particularly at the upper perigastric and distal para-oesophagal regions suggesting portal hypertension. Dilated pelvic collateral vessels are also evident.
A 15 mm gallstone is present.
The spleen is enlarged, and its cephalocaudal height measured 195 mm.
Case Discussion
Cirrhosis with evidence of portal hypertension and splenomegaly.
