Clavicle and scapula fractures

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

There is a fracture of the left clavicle at the junction of the middle and distal thirds additionally, a left comminuted scapular fracture that has no articular component.

Case Discussion

Fractures of the scapula are not common injuries, they often are the result of high energy trauma. Clavicle fractures however, are very common accounting for 2.6-10% of all fractures 1,2
