Presentation

Pain and swelling at the right clavicle for one hour after a fall from 1.5 ms height. On examination: mild swelling at the middle of the right clavicle with a partial disability to move the shoulder joint.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray
  • fracture at the junction of the middle and outer third of the right clavicle
  • displacement in the lordotic angled view
  • free bony fragments

Case Discussion

A case of a fragmentary diaphysal fracture of the right clavicle.

In this case, coracoclavicular distance, acromioclavicular joint, and glenohumeral joint appear within the normal limits.
