Presentation

Fall. Painful right clavicle and deformity.

Patient Data

Age: 3
Gender: Male
X-ray

Displaced fracture of the distal third of the clavicle.

Glenohumeral joint normal.

Case Discussion

A common fracture in children.  

Some centres now refrain from performing radiographs when clinically apparent as it doesn't alter management, as these fractures are treated non surgically.
