Post-MVA. Midline cervical spine tenderness with no gross neurological deficit.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
ct

Oblique, minimally displaced fractures of the C6 and 7 spinous processes.

No other traumatic features.

Case Discussion

Stable, undisplaced fractures of the spinous processes of C6 and 7 are typical of a clay-shoveler's fracture.
