Cervical spine

x-ray

Minimally displaced fractures of the spinous processes of C4 and C7. Cervical alignment is otherwise within normal limits.

Case Discussion

Clay-shoveler fractures are ones through the spinous processes of the cervicothoracic junction. They are usually isolated but are uncommonly multiple.
