Left side vitreous body show abnormal signal; high signal on T1, low onT2 and intermediate on fat sat after contrast there is a thin linear After enhancement in the posterior 2/3. Atrophied eft optic nerve.
Case Discussion
Coats' disease is telangiectatic retinal vessels with leakage of lipoproteinaceous exudate, while Persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous (PHPV) is usually associated with microphthlamoia and a persistent canal that goes from the optic nerve to the lens.
