Presentation

One year history of recurrent bladder infections.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Normal excretion and renal pelvis is seen on both sides.

No presence of stones or obstruction.

Ureterocoele is present on the left (see 21 min and 30 min images).

Cystoscopy confirmed a left-sided ureterocoele.

Case Discussion

A surrounding radiolucent halo is present at the distal end of the ureter filled with contrast media.

The cobra head sign indicates an uncomplicated ureterocele.
