Shortness of breath and raised white cell count. Query chest infection.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Double aortic arch with co-dominant configuration. The right subclavian artery originates from the right aortic arch.

No vascular diverticulum.

Fatty liver.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates the anatomic variant of a double aortic arch with a co-dominant configuration, which is less common (5%) than the right dominant arch configuration (70%) and the left dominant arch configuration (20%).
