C/o right paramedian chest wall swelling - 1 mths. NO c/o pain, fever.

Cold abscess of chest wall

Well-defined collection is seen anterior to sternal body and right parasternal region.
It is compressible. Mobile echoes are noted. Wall thickness is 3 mm. Thick septa is noted ( 3 mm ). Vascularity is seen in wall and in septa.
Craniocaudal - 6 cm. Transverse- 8 cm. Thickness- 2 cm.
Morphologically similar lesion ( 30 x 25 x 10 mm ) is noted deep to chest wall, anterior to right lung.
A possible communicatation is seen between two lesions.
Two reactive nodes are noted in intercostal space.
No irregularity / cortical breach of sternal body or adjacent anterior end of ribs is noted.
