Rounded hyperdense cystic lesion is noted at the third ventricle near foramen of Monro measuring 1.7 cm. No calcifications or enhancement. Mild dilatation of right lateral ventricle and moderate dilatation of left lateral ventricle denoting obastructive hydrocephalic changes.
Case Discussion
Colloid cyst has charachteristic location at the roof of the 3rd ventricle, mostly with associated obstructive hydrocephalic changes by compressing foramen of Monro. It is usually hyperdense rounded cystic lesion on CT with variable appearance on MRI .
