A well-defined cystic lesion is seen at the foramen of Monro showing hyperintense signal in FLAIR and T2 WIs.
Case Discussion
This CT and MRI demonstrate typical characteristics of a third ventricular colloid cyst, appearing as a hyperdense nodule at the foramen of Monro in the roof of the third ventricle. MRI signal characteristics are much more variable, depending on the composition of the cyst fluid.
