A rounded hyperdense lesion located near the interventricular foramina of Monro. Although the bodies of the lateral ventricles are prominent, the temporal horns remain small, the brain sulci are not effaced and there is no transependymal edema to suggest acute obstructive hydrocephalus.
Case Discussion
CT demonstrates a rounded hyperdense lesion at the foramen of Monro, consistent with a colloid cyst resulting in mild obstructive hydrocephalus.
