T1 hyperintense, intermediate T2 cyst at the foramen Monroe. Signal characteristics indicate proteinaceous contents in this case.

10 years following excision of colloid cyst. An MRI performed in the early postoperative period had shown complete resection.
A smaller, non obstructive colloid cyst is now present. Note surgical defect in the corpus callosum post transcallosal resection.
