Colo-cutaneous fistula

Patient with abdominal pain and fever. Previous left hemicolectomy.

Patient Data

Age: 40
Gender: Male

CT abdomen with and without intravenous contrast with gastrografin enema.

Large fluid collection with gas anterior to the colo-rectal anastomosis, above the bladder, extending to the lower abdominal wall, in the soft tissues of the hypogastric region.

After transrectal gastrografin one can appreciatea a long and thin fistula that goes up into the subcutaneous plane.
