Case Discussion

Gastrointestinal tract lipomas are not uncommon and can be found anywhere along the entire length of the gastrointestinal tract

Colonic lipomas mostly occur in the right colon, however; this case it occurs on left colon.

They are commonly asymptomatic, unless they are the lead point for intussusception, then they present with abdominal pain, as in this case.

On CT scan lipomas are easy to diagnose due to their fat density.
