Descending colon circumferential wall thickening with hypervascularity. Few colon diverticula, surrounded by non-compressible, echogenic, hypervascular intraabdominal fat. No fluid collection.
Case Discussion
The ultrasound findings, in combination with the clinical picture and laboratory data, are consistent with acute colonic diverticulitis.
