No anastomotic leak. J-pouch noted. Few diverticula are noted.

Colonic J-pouch is a type of neorectum, performed during surgery for rectal cancer. This may improve the quality of life of patients over a straight end-to-end anastomosis by forming a reservoir for feces with patients experiencing less urgency and frequency.
