Case Discussion

Although often there are strong clinical symptoms of a colovaginal fistula, a fluroscopic study is often helpful to confirm and delineate the anatomy.  A traditional water soluble study is usually the investigation of choice.  The commonest cause is secondary to complex diverticular disease.
